INDIA TOUR 2024 IS A GO!

We're on tour now!

The Swarathma India Tour 2024 celebrates the launch of the new album Raushan, releasing as singles over the year.

The sound systems of the tour are powered by solar and clean energy with the help of a power rig that has been designed for the live music industry. With this, we hope we can make a small step towards more sustainable concert experiences.

POWERING SOUND WITH SOLAR

Meet Sunny! Our renewable energy rig that charges up from solar (or clean energy) sources and helps power the sound systems of the Swarathma India Tour 2024 concerts. With this, we avoid the use of the diesel genset that would otherwise be a requirement. Is this a perfect solution? No. But it is a step towards more sustainable concerts.

NEW SINGLE - BAS - OUT NOW

As promised, Swarathma's new single ‘BAS’ has just dropped!

A satirical take on the silence of artists in the face of challenging times. All you have to do is pretend that everything is fine, and remember...

'Apna kaam hai BAS, gaana gaane ka!'

We are back to live gigging post the pandemic. With all the necessary precautions ofcourse. It feels great to be with you, our live audience. It feels like we never left.

SWARATHMA DIGITAL CONCERT EXPERIENCE

Our music thrives through the live-concerts we perform in public-spaces. After nearly two difficult years of social-distancing and cancelled shows, we are just getting back to performing live. But, the pandemic is not behind us yet. For now, our shows will be capped-ticketed events with all necessary precautions.

Living through these tough years, our belief in the power of music in bringing communities together has only grown stronger. We are doing out bit to bring you some musical joy in these trying times across multiple platforms and streaming services on social media. We have shared our quarantine thoughts, played music from our homes and re-imagined songs that are our old favourites even as we make new music. We are partnering with our friends and committed organizations to lend ourselves and our music for several fund-raising efforts to support artists and relevant causes

It's time to re-imagine the (indie)-rock concert: Watch Raah E Fakira Live! from The Red Music Box Studio

The future of entertainment will be hybrid. So, we are re-imagining the digital concert experience. The Red Music Box studio with it's twin-camera and professional audio set up is our perfect online gig spot.

Our digital concerts are live-streamed to audiences, we recreate the vibes of alive show by interacting through chat and keeping our on-stage humor crackling!

Even as the pandemic kept us home-bound, we kept supporting the causes that matter so much to us through our music. Raising awareness about India's looming water crisis, participating in a public dialogue on making childhood safer or singing to protest mass deforestation, continue to do our bit. We hope that you join in too and be a part of our tribe.

#ANDOTHERSTORIES

To make sense of the pandemic months, we made music as best as we could.

And since we could not meet you, our music fam, in person, we started a monthly-ish catch-up and by-invite-only hang-out series, hosted online. We reminisced, shared stories of songs. We travelled together on journeys in music. We got our young talented friends to you. We hoped to bring you good cheer and optimism in hard times. Here is a re-cap of #andOtherStories so far:

  • [Feb, 21] Simply Live! Launch Party

  • [April, 21] Story of Kaash, accepting regret

  • [May, 21] Making of Beta Sweater Pehno

  • [June, 21] Making of our debut album Swarathma - behind the scenes stories

  • [July, 21] Our early days and the street-art photographs that later became album artwork

  • [Sept., 21] Morocco memoirs

We are lucky to get back to live shows. But, we will continue with #andOtherStories when we can. Hope you join us soon.

Stay tuned, fam!
